Motseko Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and [ENTITY NAME] ("Motseko", "we", "us"), [ENTITY ADDRESS]. They apply when you use the Motseko app and website. By using Motseko you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Motseko.

1. What Motseko is

Motseko is a classifieds service for motorcycles in Lebanon. Sellers post ads, and buyers contact sellers directly by phone call or WhatsApp.

• Motseko is not a party to any sale. The buyer and the seller make their own agreement.
• Motseko does not take, hold or transfer money for motorcycles. There is no checkout, deposit, escrow or delivery in Motseko.
• Motseko does not inspect motorcycles, confirm who owns them, or verify anyone's identity.

2. Who can use Motseko

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You need a Lebanese mobile number (+961) that can receive text messages.
• You use one account for yourself. You must not use another person's number or create accounts to get around limits or enforcement.

3. Your account

• You sign in with a one-time code sent by text message to your number. Do not share the code with anyone. Motseko staff will never ask you for it.
• Signing in with a code shows only that you could receive a message on that number at that time. It is not an identity check, and Motseko never presents it as one.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@motseko.app if you think someone else has used it.

4. Posting ads

• Every ad is reviewed by our team before it is published. We may approve an ad, reject it, ask you to change it, or suspend it later. Our review checks the ad's content against these terms and our posting rules only. It does not confirm the motorcycle's condition, its history or its owner.
• By submitting an ad you confirm that:
  • you own the motorcycle or are allowed to sell it;
  • the details, price and photos are accurate, current and your own;
  • the motorcycle can lawfully be sold.
• You must not post:
  • stolen motorcycles, or motorcycles without lawful papers where papers are required;
  • false, misleading or duplicate ads, or ads for something other than a motorcycle offered for sale;
  • other people's personal data, contact details or photos without their permission;
  • offensive, unlawful or spam content, or links that send people away from Motseko for payment.
• Ads expire after the period shown in the app (currently 7 days after approval). You can renew them.
• Each person can have a limited number of active ads at the same time. The limit is shown in the app (currently 3).

5. Contacting sellers and buying

• When a seller chooses to show their number, buyers can call them or open a WhatsApp chat. These conversations happen outside Motseko, under the terms of your phone or messaging provider.
• See the motorcycle and its documents in person before you pay. Never send a deposit for a motorcycle you have not seen. Our safety tips explain how.
• Any deal, payment, transfer of ownership or dispute is between the buyer and the seller.

6. Featured placements, extra ads and dealer plans

• You can ask in the app for a featured placement, an extra active ad or a dealer plan. Our team reviews each request and decides whether to grant it.
• A "Featured" label means the ad has a promoted placement. It is not a recommendation, an inspection or a guarantee.
• A "Dealer" label shows the type of account. It does not mean we checked a licence or a business.

7. Reports and enforcement

• You can report an ad or a user from the app. The person you report does not see who reported them.
• We may remove content, limit or suspend features, or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or is required by law. Where we can, we tell you the reason in the app.
• If you think we made a mistake, write to support@motseko.app.

8. Your content

• You keep ownership of the text and photos you post. You give Motseko a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, resize and share them inside the service and in links to your ad, for as long as they are on Motseko and for the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.
• We remove location and other hidden data from photos before they are published.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

• copy or collect ads, numbers or other data from Motseko by automated means;
• send spam or harass sellers or buyers;
• try to get around limits, reviews, suspensions or security controls;
• interfere with the service or use it for anything unlawful.

10. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app. Deletion is completed 30 days after you ask, and signing in again during that time cancels it. After that, your personal data is erased and your remaining ads are removed or anonymised, as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers and liability

Motseko is provided as it is. We do not guarantee any motorcycle, seller, buyer, ad or deal, and we are not responsible for what users agree between themselves.

12. Changes

We may change these terms. We will show the new version in the app before it applies. If you keep using Motseko after that, the new terms apply.
